Icecat is continuously growing, and we are looking for business development managers to expand our business in various regions and verticals. You will be based in Istanbul, Turkey, working together with our team of sales, data, and software engineers. You will have a portfolio of renowned brands and retailers to consult and support in expanding their e-commerce business. The existing client will need you to reachout to their channel partners and this will give you new business opportunities. Next to this, it is also important to proactively reach out to other brands and retailers that will benefit from our service.Main responsibilities
- Identify and approach decision-makers within the client organization and turn this into increased business
- Implement the sales strategy (terms of sales, sales processes, etc.)
- Research and build relationships with existing and new clients
- Develop and expand long-term customer relationships
- Prepare and execute contract negotiations
- Develop and implement sales-driven marketing / promotional activities
- Participate in trade fair shows / Set up of customer events
- Reports to Icecat board of directors
Your profile
- Masters degree in International Business, BA, Economics, or similar studies
- Strong affinity with e-commerce platforms and services
- Self-reliant team player
- Structured way of working, basing decisions on solid analysis
- Negotiation and organizational skills
- Self-confidence, friendly and customer-driven
- Strong communication skills and dynamic personality
- Creative
- Experience with tools like Airtable, Miro, Clickup etc is a plus
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a commercial role (account management/sales)
- Work experience in the SaaS business is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- A flexible attitude, not a 9-to-5 mentality
- Network in the IT and electronics industry is a big plus
- Fluent in English, other languages are a pre
- Proven track record and contact in the B2B area
