👏 About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager New Verticals who will further develop Icecat`s expansion to new product verticals such as Home Improvement, Fashion, Cosmetics and Sports. Your responsibility will be building the vertical ecosystem from scratch by connecting retailers, marketplaces, distributors, brand manufacturers and other intermediaries by offering them Icecat`s freemium and premium product content management and syndication solutions.

🎯 Main Responsibilities

  • Create a vertical dedicated pipeline by prospecting key brands, retailers, and distributors and offering them Icecat`s cutting-edge content management and syndication solutions
  • Identify and approach decision-makers within the target client organization and generate recurring revenue
  • Utilize relationships with existing retail/ecommerce clients to expand current collaboration to the new target vertical
  • Prepare and execute contract negotiations
  • Develop and implement sales-driven marketing / promotional activities
  • Participate in trade fair shows / Set up of customer events
  • Reports to the Chief New Business Officer

🎓 Your Profile

  • Master’s Degree in International Business, Economics, BA, or similar studies
  • Strong affinity with e-commerce platforms and services
  • Self-reliant team player
  • Structured way of working, basing decisions on solid analysis
  • Negotiation and organizational skills
  • Self-confidence, friendly and customer-driven
  • Strong communication skills and dynamic personality
  • 5 years experience in account management and sales
  • Work experience in Fashion, DIY, Cosmetics or another potential target vertical
  • Work experience in the SaaS business is a plus
  • Fluent English; other languages are a plus
  • Proven track record and contact in the B2B area
  • Hands-on and target-oriented
