We’re coming in fast introducing Icecat PIM 3.14.0 with a release focused on pricing flexibility, import reliability, and deeper connector capabilities for Magento, Shopware, and Salesforce.
This update to Icecat PIM gives teams more control over how product pricing is calculated, makes imports more stable under real-world conditions, and extends what’s possible when synchronizing product data to your sales channels.
New Features
ASIN Report
- Added reporting view for Amazon Standard Identification Numbers
Teams selling on Amazon can now track ASIN assignment directly inside Icecat PIM. It gives a clear overview of which products have ASINs mapped and which still need attention, making it easier to keep your Amazon catalog complete and ready for listing.
RRP as Calculated Price Base
- New pricing rule option to use the Recommended Retail Price directly as the calculated price
- Available as a checkbox when adding a price rule
When selected, the RRP is applied directly as the calculated price without any margin or markup calculation. This is ideal for products where you want to follow the recommended pricing. As this will have a big impact on your price calculations, please contact us if you would like to activate this setting.
Import & Export
Import Stability & Performance
- Data locking during product imports to prevent conflicts with overrides
- Faster preview runs in the Import Wizard
- Fixed duplicate DPN numbers for warehouses in Icecat Connect
- Fixed database record creation for product descriptions during import
- Resolved issues with mapping validations for mandatory fields and core processing in the Import Wizard
- User interface improvements across the Import Wizard
Imports in Icecat PIM are now more resilient in busy environments. Data locking prevents conflicts during an import making sure specific data will not get overwritten, and preview runs execute faster so teams can validate mappings before running an import. Several edge-case bugs, including duplicate warehouse DPN numbers and broken product description records, have been resolved.
Export Management
- Added multilingual media columns (images, videos, files) to filtered product exports
- Fixed mandatory field handling in filtered exports
- Resolved a general issue in filtered export functionality
Filtered exports in the product overview page now not only include media assets, but also correctly respect mandatory field configurations, so exported product data files arrive complete and channel-ready without manual corrections.
Template Export Improvements
- Added channel names to template export overview
- Fixed a dropdown display issue in the template export interface
Channel names are now displayed in the template export configuration, making it easier to identify which channel a template belongs to. A dropdown rendering issue in the export configuration has also been resolved.
Connector Updates
Magento
- New option to send multiple attributes to a single field as a JSON object
- Configurable directly in Magento connector settings
Teams with complex attribute structures can now bundle multiple product attributes into a single JSON field during sync. This is useful when the Magento setup expects structured data in custom fields, reducing the need for post-processing or middleware.
Shopware
- Reduced log generation volume for the Shopware connector
The Shopware connector previously generated excessive log entries during sync operations. Log output is now streamlined, keeping system logs cleaner and making it easier to spot actual issues when they occur.
Salesforce
- Added support for exporting multiple levels of categories to Salesforce
Salesforce users can now sync nested category structures. This means your Salesforce Commerce catalog can mirror the full category depth configured in Icecat PIM, keeping your product taxonomy consistent across platforms.
General Improvements
Platform & UI
- Added channel search name support to product filter options
- Improved breadcrumb and title display on the product edit page
- Fixed an issue where categories could not be deleted from the category tree
- Updated system settings interface layout with minor internal enhancements
- Implemented dashboard user interface fixes
- Resolved a bug in product history tracking
- Fixed bulk actions on conversion pages
- Corrected a product pricing warehouse issue
Navigation and usability across Icecat PIM are smoother, with fewer UI interruptions in category management, product editing, and bulk operations.
Logging & Observability
- New toggle to enable or disable import/export logs
- Added logging configurations for imported data versioning
Administrators can now turn import and export logging on or off as needed per import, helping manage database size on high-volume Icecat PIM instances. Data versioning logs provide an audit trail of how imported product data changes over time.
Why This Matters
Icecat PIM 3.14.0 delivers practical improvements across the areas product teams use most. Pricing is more flexible with RRP support, imports are faster and more stable, and connectors for Magento, Shopware, and Salesforce handle more complex real-world scenarios. The new ASIN Report fills a gap for Amazon sellers, while logging controls and UI refinements make the platform easier to operate day to day.
