We’re now looking for an awesome Business Development Manager for the US and Canada who is bursting with curiosity and initiative and would be keen to join our team!

👏 About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to develop, build, and extend the client network. Your responsibility will be to manage our existing clients and expand our business in the US and Canada. The emphasis will be on new business.

🎯 Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach decision-makers within the client organization and turn this into a business
  • Implement the sales strategy (terms of sales, sales processes, etc.)
  • Research and build relationships with existing and new clients
  • Develop and expand long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare and execute contract negotiations
  • Develop and implement sales-driven marketing / promotional activities
  • Participate in trade fair shows / Set up of customer events
  • Reports to Icecat board of directors

🎓 Your Profile

  • Master’s Degree in International Business or similar studies
  • Strong affinity with e-commerce platforms and services
  • Self-reliant team player
  • Structured way of working, basing decisions on solid analysis
  • Negotiation and organizational skills
  • Self-confidence, friendly and customer-driven
  • Strong communication skills and dynamic personality
  • Work experience in the SaaS business is a plus
  • Experience in account management and sales
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • A flexible attitude, not a 9 to 5 mentality
  • Network in the IT and electronics industry is a big plus
  • Native US and fluent English; other languages are a plus
  • Proven track record and contact in the B2B area
