We’re now looking for an awesome Business Development Manager who is bursting with curiosity and initiative and would be keen to join our team!

👏 About the Role

Your primary role as a Business Development Manager is to expand the Iceshop business, a daughter company of Icecat, in existing and or new verticals. Having the benefit of cross-selling services from other entities in the holding will make your job even more interesting. The possibilities are endless, and that leaves you with plenty of relevant opportunities to discuss them during your prospecting conversations. By managing & prospecting clients via visiting, networking, cold calling, promoting, or by other means of generating interest. Using an existing network from your experience can, of course, speed up the potential business.

🎯 Main Responsabilities

  • Identify and approach decision-makers within the client organization and turn this into increased business
  • Implement the sales strategy (terms of sales, sales processes, etc.)
  • Research and build relationships with existing and new clients
  • Develop and expand long-term customer relationships
  • Prepare and execute contract negotiations
  • Develop and implement sales-driven marketing / promotional activities
  • Participate in trade fair shows / Set up of customer events
  • Reports to Sales Manager

🎓 Your Profile

  • HBO or higher work and thinking level
  • Strong affinity with e-commerce platforms and services
  • Self-reliant team player
  • Structured way of working, basing decisions on solid analysis
  • Negotiation and organizational skills
  • Self-confidence, friendly and customer-driven
  • Strong communication skills and dynamic personality
  • Work experience in the SaaS business is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • A flexible attitude, not a 9 to 5 mentality
  • Network in the IT and electronics industry is a big plus
  • Native Dutch and fluent English; other languages are a plus
  • Proven track record and contact in the B2B area
