We have recently announced the launch of our first workshops focused on Danish legislation for our first internal step for compliance. As part of our efforts to support regulatory compliance, we are expanding our focus beyond EU regulations to include local legislative frameworks. This expansion begins with Denmark
The first session is scheduled for April 8th and will be led by us at Icecat for our participating partners. This initiative aims to ensure a structured and collaborative approach to compliance, especially given the potential overlap between Danish regulations and those in other regions.
Why a Local Approach?
In previous discussions, broader participation sometimes led to shifting priorities. To maximize efficiency, we are narrowing our focus to local legislation, beginning with the Danish Packaging Regulation (Extended Producer Responsibility – EPR).
Our workshop will begin with a presentation on a data model designed to support compliance with legislation. We will then share insights on tax reporting, internal alignment, and overall preparation strategies among companies. Finally, we will establish common goals for the data-onboarding process
By working together, we aim to streamline compliance efforts and create a structured approach to navigating local regulatory landscapes. We look forward to an engaging and productive session with all participants.
Furthermore, after our internal workshops, we plan to engage with external parties interested in understanding the legislation. We will invite them to explore our approach and participate in the discussion. More on that to come!
For those who were invited, we look forward to seeing you at the workshop!
