We’re thrilled to announce the launch of version 3.2.0, packed with exciting new features and enhancements. This update focuses on improving channel-specific pages for Brand users of Icecat PIM. Key upgrades include the addition of a completeness score, refined validation rules for Editor team approvals, and enhanced export functionality for Amazon Vendor integration. Discover all the details and learn how these improvements can benefit you!
Enhanced Field Validation Features for Product Content Export
➜ Added validations for product content export for each field (product descriptions’ character length, bullet points’ forbidden words, image count)
New validation settings have been introduced to improve the quality and consistency of product content exported to your channels. These include field-level controls for visibility, mandatory status, minimum and maximum character limits, and the number of items. Moreover, bullet points are now validated to ensure they start with a capital letter, do not end with a period, and contain no special characters or emojis. You can also define banned words per language (e.g., “speed”, “security”, “performance”) to avoid non-compliant content.
These enhancements are especially helpful for managing the work of Editor teams, ensuring they follow structured content rules and reducing the risk of incorrect or incomplete product data being sent to your e-commerce environment. See the screenshots below.

AI-Powered Product Description Translations in Icecat PIM
➜ Channel Specific Page | Added AI translations of product descriptions from Global Master Data to Country (language) data
You can now write a description in one language and use our built-in AI to translate it into multiple languages of your choice in Icecat PIM. Keep in mind, however, that this will overwrite any previous text edits and general lock.
Completeness Score in Icecat PIM
➜ Channel Specific Data | Added a Completeness Score
The completeness score is determined by the mandatory fields required for a product in Icecat PIM. This score is visible on each tab of each language, providing a clear overview of the product’s data completion status.
➜ Channel Specific Page | Added the ability to download product details in XLS format
We’ve added a new feature that allows you to download product details in XLS format directly from the Product Page. This makes it easier to organize, analyze, and share data directly from our platform with just a few clicks.
➜ Channel Specific Page | Added the functionality to upload videos
You can upload videos directly from your computer or via a URL. When uploading through a URL, we verify that the link is valid and ensure the video does not exceed the permitted size limit.
Multi-Marketplace Export, User Copy Feature, and UI Enhancements
➜ Amazon Vendor | Product Edit | Added multi-marketplace export functionality
Introduced multi-marketplace export functionality for Amazon accounts, simplifying product management across multiple platforms. We updated the interface with a multi-select dropdown, making it easy for users to choose multiple channels. As a result, the export process performs sequential exports to all selected marketplaces, maintaining the same functionality as the single export. The system displays logs sequentially, ensuring a clear and consistent user experience.
➜ Added functionality to copy users
Previously, in Release Notes version 3.1.0, we introduced an updated and enhanced User Management functionality. Building on that, we are announcing a new addition: the ability to copy user profiles. This feature allows you to duplicate a user’s settings effortlessly, saving time and reducing hassle. It’s particularly useful when creating multiple accounts with similar configurations, for instance, Editor accounts.
➜ Changed the Total Stock Display location to the expandable area in card view

Other Improvements
➜ CSV Export | Added a setting to export only the first EAN
When distributors provide multiple EANs (GTINs), Icecat enrichment process often adds more to existing ones, although some e-commerce platforms typically require just one. To address this, we’ve introduced a feature that lets you export only the first EAN (GTIN).
Additionally, a quick reminder: you can adjust the Icecat enrichment import settings to limit EAN (GTIN) field enrichment. This new setting offers another way to achieve the same outcome for users who have already enriched their products but prefer to keep only one EAN (GTIN).
➜ Product List | Included DPN search from all product warehouses in filters
Previously, users could only search by DPN (Distributor Product Number) within the selected warehouses (distributors) in PIM. Now, the search spans all available warehouses for each product, ensuring a more comprehensive result.
➜ Task Automation | Added job statuses: Inactive, Enabled, and Disabled
Easily track your jobs within the Task with clearer insights. You can now view their status as Inactive, Enabled, or Disabled for better management and efficiency.

➜ Shopware | Added a setting to export Custom Fields as Tags
You now have the flexibility to export custom fields from PIM as either strings or tags, giving you more control over your data.
